What is Ringworm?

Ringworm or alopecia areata with its medical name is a disease that occurs when a person’s hair or other hairs such as eyebrows, eyelashes and beards are shed in a short period of time. In later stages, it depends on the patient’s condition and is applied to the scalp with an injector. Applications around the eyes are very risky due to eye health and require much attention. Apart from ringworm steroid medication, it is treated with different methods called immunotherapy.
